I'm Marla Waal

I was a professional dancer, trained in classical ballet among other styles. Based out of Montreal, then later Chicago, I travelled the globe performing and teaching. 

Moving back to Canada in 1998 to start a family, I could see and feel the challenges with remaining physically mobile, healthy, and happy in the "normal" routines of our daily lives. This led me through years of study and teaching Yoga, Pilates, and many more specialized practices for maintaining physical freedom.

My mission is to help you feel more free and strong in your body by sharing tools and practices that promote your physical health and independence.
