" I teach in a way that empowers my clients. I educate them so that they feel safe doing any activity they choose.
I encourage their own wisdom, and promote their independence.
I help them get out of pain, and back to doing the things they love."
~ Marla
I'm Marla Love
Movement has always been an integral part of Marla’s life. After studying ballet at the school of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, she joined Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal and later danced with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. In 1998 Marla discovered Yoga, and while studying and teaching she completed over 12 yoga certifications in various styles from restorative practices to more vigorous Ashtanga.
After recognizing her passion for helping people destress and feel free in their bodies, Marla continued to study so that she could empower her clients with more effective tools to stay healthy. She went on to study the Franklin Method, Pilates, ELDOA™ and most recently became a Buteyko Breath Educator.
With over 25 years of experience, and a passion for helping her clients move better, Marla is a lifelong learner and continues to evolve and grow as a teacher. She teaches in a way that lays out an education, thus empowering her clients and students to achieve a level of self care that approaches mastery.

Marla & Mountain Love
Co-Founders of Vitality Movement Studio
In 2021, after years of teaching and a shared passion for helping others, we came together to create Vitality Movement Studio. With decades of teaching experience between us, we realized that we both had something valuable to share with the world—grounded in the transformative practice of yoga as well as utilizing other channels of movement and wellness.
"For us, Vitality Movement Studio is more than a business; it’s an opportunity to serve others, helping people reconnect with their bodies, find balance, and cultivate true vitality in their lives."
Marla has been deeply engaged in developing Thrive While Sitting, an innovative program designed to help people find movement and well-being even while sitting at a desk. (Mountain currently works many hours daily at a desk)
At the heart of our studio is the belief that our work is in service to others. As bodhisattvas, we are committed to making a positive impact, guiding others on their journeys to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Whether through yoga, seated movement practices, or other wellness modalities, our goal is to create a space where everyone can thrive with vitality.
